About this course

Following a hugely successful first semester in Autumn and Winter of 2024, with the participation of over 60 dedicated LSCs, RECLAIM is back!


The Association of Translation Companies, GALA, ELIA and EUATC are thrilled to combine forces and bring you  Reclaim the future 2.0 – AI Upskilling Training for Language Services , the first comprehensive training programme based on the needs of SME language service companies (up to 500 Employees).


This specially created course will upskill language service companies’ leaders and workforce with essential, practical knowledge and skills to leverage AI in meeting the evolving needs & expectations of their current & future clients.


As we adapt to increasingly challenging business realities, acquiring a thorough understanding of AI and its applications becomes crucial for driving innovation and maintaining competitiveness.


The language industry, by its very nature, underpins the international success of all other sectors – sectors in which clients are learning about AI and expecting AI-enabled solutions from their partners.


Having guided participating companies through the course in 2024 we are more certain ever of the importance of equipping language service companies and their workforce with the right AI strategy & skills & for their business and for the delivery of language services in the AI era.


The AI Upskilling Training for Language Services comprises:


  • A live online instructor-led training course focusing on AI skills and technologies in the business of language services and in the development of language technologies; and
  • Additional, optional bespoke training & services for individual language service companies, tailored to the individual needs of your company and team.

The online training will be delivered in 10 sessions over the course of 10 weeks from February 7th 2025, until just before Easter 2025.


All modules and sessions can be attended by any and all staff members at the participating companies.


The training does not have a set formal qualification level as per UK Qualification Levels.

The Reclaim the Future course is open to all SME language service companies globally.

The weekly sessions will take place in the afternoons in Europe and the UK, also allowing some US-based companies to participate.
